While building the V2 Gundam, I decided to give it a go with the nostalgic brush painting method.
I love the Zanscare suit, so when I saw someone selling the assembly kit at a flea market for a reasonable price, I bought it without hesitation.
After some simple sanding and some minor seam removal, I painted it. There was almost no drying time, and I didn't need to gather any tools or choose a location, so I finished it in a week.
Since I started using an airbrush, I've gained a deeper understanding of dilution, and I feel like my brush painting skills have improved too.
...But even so, I was surprised at how few parts there were for Gunpla from 30 years ago. When I was a kid, I could buy this for 500 yen, but now it's 1000 yen even at a flea market.
