My original plan wasn't to recreate this illustration, but I thought I'd just make the Dodai YS, but I didn't realise that the old HGUC Gouf couldn't kneel, so I quickly made a Revive version. Since I was going to make one anyway, I thought I'd make the Kunio Okawara version, but when I started making it, it turned out to be quite difficult.
The white lines would be easy if I stuck decals on the Real Type Gouf, but they're not sold as such. What's more, I don't have the skills to mask and airbrush, or the drawing ability to paint with a face brush, so I ended up sticking mostly Hasegawa finish sheets on with sheer determination. I don't particularly want to put any more on the knees.
I made it in three days, so it's still pretty tough
