There's a contest going on right now, so I'm going to enter it with the old Zaku I finished the other day. 😊
It was originally bought second-hand, thinking, "Wow, that's cheap!" without really looking at it.
...But when I took it out of the plastic and looked at it more closely at home, I noticed that all the seams had been painted, so I thought I'd have some fun changing the color. 🤣
When I was researching coloring patterns for the old Zaku online, I saw that the Thunderbolt version featured plenty of my favorite orange, so I decided to go with it right away. 🍊
However, it was heavily weathered, so I smoothed the surface, applied pink primer, and then painted it completely by hand for the first time in a while.
