I painted this 1/144 old kit in the captured color scheme of a mobile suit that appeared in the early 2000s game "Mobile Suit Gundam: Federation vs. Zeon DX".

I'd always thought the proportions and details of the mobile suit in the game were similar to the old kit, so it was a paint job I'd wanted to try someday. I'm glad the atmosphere turned out just as I imagined.

Also, the old kit only comes with about one type of weapon, so when recreating certain scenes, there's always a bit of a "wouldn't it be nice to have something else?" feeling. This weapon set really came in handy this time.

Of course, the Federation Gundam needs the Gundam Hammer!
