Setting aside the right leg part for now, I moved on to creating the base for the left leg part.
It's said that "most of the internal frame parts will be hidden once the assembly is complete." However, the internal movable frame is also layered, and comparing the left and right legs, it's clear that the internal frame to which the outer frame is attached is densely molded with structural details.
The innermost layered frame will ultimately become invisible as multiple layers of parts are attached, just like in real machinery.
This is a prime example of Bandai's madness in wanting to let people experience the construction of a mobile suit.
