My first Gunpla project of the year was a mass-produced ν Gundam from Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway: Circe's Witch, built from EG kits. I thought it would be too difficult to fully scratch-build the flight armor "Allyzeus," which has that much mass and detail, so I gave up on that idea. However, I did have the desire to try making it after incorporating a transformation mechanism into the ν Gundam's large beam saber. Using option parts sets and 30MM parts for the connection points and arms, I made 90% of it from my hobby of papercraft, resulting in a lightweight, paper-crafted Allyzeus.
