I'm currently transplanting parts from King Gundam onto a generic soldier base. This time, I'm starting with the legs.

I'm only working on one side at a time, including the arms. The basic idea is to modify the original kit so that the ankles, which only go up to the ankles of the transplanted kit, can be fitted into them. Since the transplanted kit uses a ball joint connection, I'm embedding the ball joint receiver into the original kit. This modification has made the legs longer. Without modification, the legs looked a bit plain, so I added shin guards. I cut and reused the shin guards from the shoulder parts of the included interchangeable armor. I think it looks pretty good.
