Recent Gunpla models can stand on one knee.
It would be nice if the upper body was a little more raised, though.
Mobility isn't a priority to begin with, so I don't usually make the left and right waist armor independent (I don't like it when it wobbles), but I thought "if it's possible to kneel (fire from the knee) then maybe I should do it?", but I guess this is the best the mobility of an HGUC 1/144 kit can do.
Some people might think this pose is a reasonable shooting pose at first glance, but if a human soldier were to try to aim and shoot at a target in this position, they probably wouldn't "hit the target."
