I used water-based hobby paint, Gundam markers, and brushed lacquer on the eye camera only, then added panel lining, details, and grooves. I also applied a generous amount of decals (for the RG Nu Gundam) to finish it off so that it looks pretty good from a distance. (Not completely painted, just about 90% painted (lol).)
This is my first training piece for next year's Orazaku Championship. My weak eyes make detailed work difficult (T_T)
I don't usually do this, but since it was training, I added some clumsy details with plastic. I don't usually do grooves either, but since it was a training piece, I gave it my all. Of course...
