The second unit was also fully painted, and this time I scratch-built an asymmetrical V-shaped antenna to make it the commander's unit.

The previous week, I fully painted a Hathaway's Flash version of the Gustav Karl in the style of the old design drawings to create a "Dora Karl" look, but the form was so cool that I decided to make another fully painted unit. This time I made the antenna asymmetrical V-shaped to create a "Gustav Karl Commander's Unit" look.

According to the old design drawings, the commander's Gustav Karl has asymmetrical V-shaped antennas on both sides, while the standard Dora Karl has a bar-shaped antenna (rod antenna) on the left side.

I scratch-built the asymmetrical V-shaped antenna using plastic sheets.
