Thanks to the BB Senshi re-release, I was able to get my hands on Gundam Daikotei for the first time in decades, so I modified it into Yami Taitei Gundam.
Up until the previous series, enemy characters were also made into merchandise, but Yami Taitei, the enemy from this "Strongest on Earth" series, was never released. I was incredibly disappointed at the time because all I could do was cut out a prototype photo from the paper base included with Daikotei and stand it up.
I thought to myself, "Future me, please use this as a basis to modify and create Yami Taitei someday...!" I had kept the Daikotei, which I had played with and broken parts of back then, stored away for decades for modification purposes, and a few years ago it resurfaced, bringing back memories. I've been thinking about it ever since, until the other day...
