I tried candy painting the HG Johnny Ridden's Gelgoog, but I couldn't get the smooth, candy-like feel...
I've done candy painting a few times, but this is the first time the finish has turned out so differently from what I imagined.
I suspect the reason is that I probably made a mistake by using only surfacer for the black base coat.

This time, I used two base coats after the black, silver and gold, and deep clear red and clear rouge as clear colors, to test how different the color shades were in four different patterns.
