I bought a photo booth, so I'm going to start taking photos of my old work and posting them.
First up is the HGUC Messala.
I checked and found out I built it in July 2023.
I hadn't been using an airbrush for long, since I'd just gotten back into Gunpla. The paint job wasn't quite as good as it is now, so I used weathering to hide the flaws. The finished kit looks even cooler than I expected, but removing the seams beforehand is a real pain. I have to go through the backpack, legs, and arms... Also, the back looks heavy, and the kit looks really unbalanced. I was concerned about the hollowed-out legs, so I filled them in with putty.
