When I was in elementary school, my beloved Char's life or death was unknown in Z Gundam, and he didn't even appear in Double Zeta, so I thought he must have died. Then it was announced that Char's Counterattack would be made into a movie.
This was the promotional poster. The moment I saw it, I felt a chill run down my spine. From Mk-II to Zeta, and from Zeta to Double Zeta, the designs got more and more voluminous, but I was captivated from the very beginning by the simple Nu Gundam, which seemed to return to its roots. A conversation on the day I made the Sad Warrior poster: "Dad, are you going to make another poster next? The one with the last shooting..."
