With the utmost respect for the kit, the model was created with the policy of "not adding details, but increasing density through painting."
This Z Gundam was built with the themes of "realism without excessive embellishment" and "a sense of a well-maintained machine."
To make the most of the kit's surface composition and the beauty of its edges, the paint was kept as thin as possible, taking care not to detract from the details of the molds and surfaces. Panel lining was also kept to a minimum, leaving only areas where it would naturally form shadows, thus preserving the original amount of detail in the design.
The blue parts were designed to be somewhere between the vividness in the anime and the subdued color of the design drawings, and are expressed by ambient light.
