Disassembly and maintenance in a hangar...I'm sure there are a lot of people who love this sort of thing...including me, lol.
So, using the entry-level RX-78, I tried to create a Gundam undergoing disassembly and maintenance.
I used a 30mm Spinatio and some junk parts for the internal frame. By combining these and painting them metallically, it somehow looks like a frame.
The Core Fighter at the feet is the one that came with HGUC No. 21 RX-78-2.
I deliberately left the abdominal parts attached to represent the model without the Core Fighter.
