I tried to paint as much as possible using commercially available paint as is, but I mixed the color only on the bright pink parts. When I painted only the pink parts, the background was black so it ended up being a dim color, so I mixed the color again and repainted it, which unintentionally created a gradient effect.
The white lines that are unique to the sleeved kit were mainly masked with the included stickers and painted over, and only the chest markings were painted by spraying enamel paint over the white and then wiping it off with enamel solvent.
I found out later that this kit was famous for having legs that were easily broken, but perhaps because it's a resale item or because I masked the joints,
