I recently had a photo shoot of the Qubeley I've been working on. This time I tried using the polarized colors from Falefo, so I tried to see what kind of shooting environment would be best to capture that in photos.
First, as usual, I used a photo box with a black background.
The photos came out pretty nicely. The polarized look wasn't as apparent as when viewed with the naked eye.
I used a homemade footlight box to shine light from below. Wow, it's surprisingly cool. Next, I took a photo in natural light. The purple shows up more beautifully here. Finally, I used a white background. The polarized color comes out better here. When photographed overall, the base purple stands out.
