This is the "1/100 RX-78-2 Gundam Metal In Frame GP30th 945SH G Ver." which was sold bundled with Softbak's 945SH mobile phone to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Gunpla. I like the Yasuhiko-designed face of the RX-78 and I like the MG Ver. 2.0, but I was really drawn to this face, so I bought the kit when I found it at a second-hand shop.

I painted only the PS resin exterior parts, applied some water-slide decals haphazardly, and then applied a water-based semi-gloss topcoat. The internal frame is die-cast, so it's quite heavy when you lift it.
