I bought the Windam a while ago when it was re-released on Premium Bandai, and I built it with the aim of improving its performance in as short a time as possible and on as little budget as possible. It's modeled after the Gundam Mk-II.
As of CE75, ZAFT had the Gelgoog and Gyan, Orb had deployed the Murasame Kai, a heavily modified Murasame, and the emerging Foundation had developed an ultra-powerful MS called the Black Knight Squad, but the Earth Federation was still using the Windam. I felt a bit sorry for the Earth Federation soldiers on the ground.
The face was changed to a twin-eye Gundam face, a new backpack was fitted, and the rest was Gundam
