This is the mass-produced Gelgoog that served as the base for the Gelgoog Cannon I posted recently. The sculpting is rather crude, and the military-style coloring practically screams "I'm just a background character 🤓," but I think it's a great kit that can be transformed quite a bit with some modifications.

I'm a fan of anime reproductions, so I deliberately didn't do any panel lining (I can't do it 🤓).
Incidentally, this Gelgoog is quite difficult to photograph well.

Just a slight difference in the face or hand position makes it look much more like a background character 🤓.
However, once you get it right, it takes on a presence that makes it hard to believe it's just a background character.
