Honestly, even though I haven't watched it in a while, the TV version of Zeta Gundam is amazing every time, but I actually like the often-criticized new translation too.

Especially the freshness of the opening of the first film, "Inherit the Stars," is incredible. The impact of the scene where GACKT's "Metamorphosis" plays and the Astroid Belt swirls by is amazing. The animation quality and coolness of Amuro's return, as in the TV version. People tend to focus on the Asshimar and say "Shotgun!", but the "Cartridge!" from Kamille and the Mk-II right before is also cool. Amuro charges in shouting "Sink!" and escapes by parachute, and the Mk-II's manipulator catches him.
