The Maruichi parts I ordered last time haven't arrived yet, so I've been working on the detailed painting.

While painting, I noticed that the Xi Gundam has trapezoidal designs in various places. The most noticeable are around the funnel missile containers. I wonder if these parts have some kind of function? Is there some kind of backstory or explanation? Like a radiator?

So, I think it would look better if these trapezoidal parts were the same color, so I'll paint them next time!

I've done the panel lining for now, and since the weather hasn't been great lately, I'll paint them when it's sunny.

The beam rifle is also untouched, only the seam lines have been removed, so there's still more to come.
