Gate marks and parting lines are noticeable even after painting, as seen on this part, so we'll remove them by sanding.
For sanding, I used sandpaper with a backing block (grits 400, 600, and 800), just like when removing seam lines on flat surfaces.
After finishing with 400 grit
Initially, I was just sanding with sandpaper, but the area around the parting line was difficult to sand 🤔
