"Last Shooting" I thought about the true meaning behind that scene, and tried to express it in the form of a diorama using the so-called Yokohama Gundam.
This may just be my own imagination, but I think the pose of the Gundam at this time represents the character for "person" (hito)? In the cursive form of the character for "person," the right (i.e. left foot) is swept inward, not outward.
"People" is a major theme that is consistently depicted in the first Gundam. Selfish and spoiled Amuro meets and parts with people, and grows as a person. On Earth, a mother and child find that their hometown has disappeared, and they complain that they want salt.
