I got serious about painting the MGSD Aerial metallic.
I redrew all the grooves, but didn't add any because the result was good.
Except for the gunmetal on the joints, I finished everything with a semi-gloss finish to create a metallic feel.
The shell unit was the most difficult part, but since I'd already created rainbow glow with the previous Full Mechanics Aerial, this time it was easy. It's normally silver, but when you shine a black light on it, it glows blue.
As you'd expect from Bandai's latest kit, it's well thought out and I had a lot of fun assembling it after the top coat was done.
