To preserve the kit's original design, I chose to build it "straight out of the box" and finish it in its molded color, as per the instructions.

I applied weathering effects to the entire model, anticipating the harsh environment depicted in the film.

Towards the end of the construction process, excessive weathering solvent flowed into the joint of the right claw. The resulting corrosion caused the plastic to lose its strength and break.

Therefore, I changed the original design to represent:
"A Hy-Gogg that barely returned from the front lines after a failed mission, with its right arm severely damaged."
