I'm slowly making progress on the old kit, the Best Mecha Collection 1/144 Zaku.

After applying gray primer and filling in any scratches I found, I used Mr. Hobby's Black Primer No. 1000.

Then I added highlights with an airbrush. I used SEED Color Deactive White from the water-based hobby color line. There are a few clumps and it's a bit of a failure, but I'll fix it during the main painting.

I also applied Phantom Gray to the chest armor.

After the highlights, I sprayed Phantom Gray on the elbow parts.
