I finished the MG Barbatos Lupus with a full paint job, including the use of expansion parts.

This time, instead of aiming for a pristine, newly completed model, I aimed for a heavy, rugged atmosphere, as if it had survived many fierce battles. Therefore, I painted the entire model with a black base coat, layering each color while leaving some of the black undercoat visible in certain areas. Even the white armor wasn't painted a uniform white; I varied the light, shadow, and weathering depending on the location.

After the base coat, I gradually applied chipping with a sponge, dry brushing, and weathering effects. I paid particular attention to areas that would likely be rubbed or damaged in actual combat, such as the corners of the armor, the blades of the weapons, and the legs.
