This Victory Gundam was painted with the concept that the League Militaire developed the Gundam as a symbol of their resistance against the Zanscare Empire, and furthermore, it was painted in the style of the RX-78, the first Gundam developed and piloted by the legendary Newtype Amuro Ray, to further emphasize victory against the Zanscare Empire and boost morale within the League Militaire.

Incidentally, the Victory Gundam doesn't bear the name Gundam...
