At first I was thinking about painting it in Federation colors, but changed the color midway through. I painted it in the light green German Air Force color. I used Japanese Navy Dark Green 2 for the dark green and Navy Construction Gray for the gray. I also painted some of the cables gold. I kept the weathering a little subdued, using Tamiya Weathering Master Red Rust in some areas. I filled in only the most noticeable seams, drilled a hole for the monoeye on the head with a pin vise, embedded H-eyes, and painted the back white. The photo was edited to look like the 1/100 scale Hizack from the old kit. The old Hizack kit itself is a kit that holds a lot of memories for me, so I took a photo like this.
