I'm currently transplanting King Gundam parts onto a generic soldier base. This time, I'm starting with the head.
The original kit's neck uses a pivot joint, so I'm using the generic soldier head to create a ball joint connection.
I've cut out the face section, a common modification in older kits, and positioned it slightly further back. It's not glued yet, but it gives it a nice three-dimensional look.
Next, I plan to start on the arms.
