I've finished my old 1/144 Char's Zaku! It's been 8 months since my last completed model, and this is my first old kit Char's Zaku!

I started out wondering how the glossy finish from the casting process, which I don't usually do, would turn out, but I'm quite happy with the result, including the white lines.

I had trouble with the decals this time, so I hand-painted the markings on both elbows, the left knee, and the "S".

It's an old kit built straight out of the box, but I think it looks really cool. The idea was that he liked the lines on the new recruit's Zaku and wanted them on his own. I also really like the hand-painted "S". I think the mono-eye painting turned out okay too. The moment I drew the white lines, I was really impressed.
