"A Life-Staking Operation"
During the real-world World War II, during the Normandy Landings, later known as "D-Day," conducted by the Allied forces,
soldiers, determined to fight to the death, landed on the beach from the sea amidst the enemy German forces' constant barrages of bullets intended to prevent the landing, and fought to liberate Paris in northern France.
I tried a diorama with the GM Cannon, and I thought, "I wonder if it really moves like this... 😅"
