I often see parts with strange surface configurations on other kits.
The shoulder parts on the Mighty Strike Freedom are like that too.
The connections between the surfaces where the red, gray, and white parts intersect are strange.
So, I started carving the red parts to make them fit together, but I realized that there was a lot more to carve than I expected, and the angles of the surfaces near the intersections were also strange. It got a lot more difficult, and it took me a long time just to finish this one part. 😅
When the surfaces line up neatly, it looks neater, so I think it was worth the effort. ☺️
