I remember being disappointed when the Quattro version was released in December 2004, after I hastily bought and assembled the standard MG Gundam Artifact released in May. The standard version was pretty good too, though...
This time, I did some panel lining and a basic assembly in preparation for my first Gundam Artifact painting. I chose the Rick Dias, which has fewer parts and was re-released last year.
I'm struggling with the paint colors. Should I use red to make it Quattro's version, or black as the main color for the standard version, or maybe some kind of fantasy color...?
For now, I'll try my best during Golden Week with the water-based paints and Gundam markers I have on hand.

Just assembling it made my eyes ache.
