I was lucky enough to get this one I wanted...
I painted it using HG and MG as references, using dry brushing and chipping as the base, and then adjusting the tone with filtering.
I used amber for weathering and a sense of ground contact at the feet, and black for the backpack to emphasize the difference from the body. I applied a very light layer of violet to the whole thing to unify the color scheme.
The mono-eye has a four-layer gradient to represent light. I slightly shifted the center to create a gaze that seems to have "emotion." I further darkened the area below the mono-eye with black to make the light stand out.
The pipes have a light gradient of dark steel → steel.
