I made a pilgrimage!
Kamiigusa Station on the Seibu Shinjuku Line was long the headquarters of Sunrise, the studio behind Mobile Suit Gundam (now relocated to Ogikubo). A bronze statue stands in front of the station, and its departure melody is "Fly!" It's Gundam.
