One of my favorite scenes in Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn is episode 4, "At the Bottom of the Gravity Well," where the Zeon remnants, a sort of moving war museum, suddenly approach Torrington Base.
The scene where Dom Tropen tosses up a Sturmfaust with one hand, shouting, "Let's get this together and get this done!"...and then, as it flies around randomly, he fires his rifle and overwhelms the Federation units to capture the base...is breathtaking!
So I tried making a Dom Tropen like that!
(I finished it in a week, so I don't have many photos of the work in progress. 😅)
The smoke effects and other effects were made using materials you can buy at a 100 yen store.
