I created the "Ecopla 1/144 Gundam Assembly Experience Ver." This kit was a gift for visitors to "Gundam Next Future" held in Shinjuku last year. I was thinking about how to make it, but I decided to use it as practice for my first full brush painting.
First, I sprayed on black primer for the first time. Using Mr. Finishing Surfacer and water-based hobby colors, I applied a thin coat of a slightly darker base color, and then painted on the original color, trying Shimizu Kei's full brush painting method. Sponge chipping and top coat completed it.
This was my first full brush painting, and I think I applied too many coats, but the base color didn't come out well.
