Happy New Year, modelers!
To kick off the new year, I've built the Delta Gundam, a prototype transforming mobile suit that appears in Mobile Suit Gundam UC MSV and other titles. The Hyaku Shiki, developed under Project Z, was completed as a transforming MS, remaining true to the original development plan.
This time, I gave the Delta Gundam a matte finish, including the gold plating.
This was my first time building a gold-plated kit, and I wasn't sure how the seams and gates would be processed, so I left the plated parts in the molded color. Other parts were painted with a brush, with the seams removed.
