At first, I was trying to clear out my backlog of plastic models by simply inking with a mechanical pencil and giving it a matte finish, but when I actually cut it out, it looked surprisingly cool, so I decided to take the time to add fluorescent paint and a weathering finish. I don't usually do much weathering, so I used the HJ website as a reference to dirty up the parts. The clear parts of the Zilius looked incredibly beautiful even without any effort, so I gave only the clear parts a glossy finish to give them a foreign feel. I also sprayed on Gaia Notes fluorescent clear paint so that they would glow under black light. I was particular about using the molded color of the kit as much as possible while painting it.
