Q: Can I use the service without registering?
A: You can view posts without registering, but registering allows you to post your own works and access additional features.
Q: How do I register?
A: If you have a Bandai Namco ID, you can register by logging in.
If you do not have one, please create a new Bandai Namco ID and log in.
* Creating a Bandai Namco ID is free of charge.
Q: What is a Bandai Namco ID?
A: A Bandai Namco ID is a unified account used across Bandai Namco Group services and content.
With a single account, you can enjoy various services and content offered by the group.

Profile Settings
Q: How can I change my profile?
A: You can change your username, icon image, and more by clicking the “Edit” button on your My Page.
Q: What are fan badges?
A: These are badges displayed on your profile and timeline.
They let you show your approach to activities and interactions on Builders Note to other users.
You can get fan badges by exchanging My Coins via the Store.
Posting Your Work
Q: How do I submit a post?
A: You can post by selecting a thumbnail, title, body, and the Gunpla kit you used.
You can also attach images, set topics, and apply spoiler filters.
Q: What are the requirements for images?
A: Files over 15MB per image are restricted.
There are no limits on file type, size, or number of images.
Q: How do I save a draft?
A: Edits are saved automatically as drafts.
You can store multiple drafts and edit them later from the “Draft” option on the template selection screen.
Drafts sync across devices,allowing you to start a post on your smartphone and finish it on your PC, for example.
Q: I can’t find my Gunpla kit.
A: Please search using the official name.
If it doesn't appear, tap “Post without selecting Gunpla.”
To report missing kits, use the “Contact Form.”
Q: What is the spoiler setting?
A: You can hide content using the spoiler setting.
Posts marked “Contains spoilers” will be hidden until tapped.
Q: What are topics?
A: Topics are tags for indicating the theme of a post. You can set up to 10 per post and browse works by topic.
Q: How can I create a new topic?
A: Enter the topic name in the topic field and tap the “+” button.
If a similar topic already exists, select it from the list.
Q: How do I edit a post?
A: Tap “⋯” on the top right of the post → “Edit post.”
After editing, tap [Save] to finish.
Q: How do I delete a post?
A: Tap “⋯” on the top right of the post → “Delete post.”
Deleted posts cannot be restored.
Q: Can I post more than once a day?
A: There’s no limit on the number of posts per day.
Q: Is it okay if I’m a beginner or just doing straight builds?
A: Absolutely.
We welcome all skill levels.You’re encouraged to post straight builds or work-in-progress kits using the related topics.
Q: What should I keep in mind when posting?

Q: Can I post non-Gunpla works?
A: Yes, as long as the content relates to Gunpla or Gundam-style modeling.
Additionally, submissions of three-dimensional works handling Gundam are generally welcome.

Finding Works
Q: How can I find works from the Home screen?
A: The Home screen shows popular posts and highlighted topics.
Q: What are “Popular Posts”?
A: These are featured posts displayed at the top of the Home screen. They are selected from posts made over the past several days.
The featured list is updated daily at midnight.
Q: How can I find works from the Timeline?
A: The Timeline allows you to view user posts in three tabs:
- New: Displays new posts in chronological order.
- Following: Shows new posts from users you follow in order.
- Recommended: Highlights posts or topics trending in popularity.
Q: How are “Popular Posts” determined?
A: The system selects posts from recent days based on metrics like view count and reactions.
* Selection criteria may change without notice.
Q: How can I search for works by Gunpla kit?
A: Visit the “Gunpla list”, select a kit, and you can view all posts tagged with that specific kit.
By selecting a Gunpla kit, you can view all works featuring that particular kit.
Q: How can I search for works by topic?
A: Go to “Topics,” select a topic, and you can view all posts tagged with that topic.
From the topic details screen, you can collectively view all works that share the same topic.
Reacting
Q: What is a comment?
A: Comments allow you to respond to other users’ posts.
To comment, type your message in the “Comment” field under a post and tap the “Send” button.
Q: What is a Like?
A: You can give up to 20 Likes to posts or comments made by other users.
Liked content is collected on your My Page and Likes cannot be undone.
Q: What is Follow?
A: Follow lets you subscribe to users you like.
Tap the follow/unfollow button on a user's post or profile page.
In the “Following” tab on the Home screen, you can see posts from users you follow in chronological order.
Following someone does not send them a notification.
Q: How do I view or unfollow users?
A: On the Home tab's Follow section, tap “Manage your following” to see or unfollow users you are following.
Missions / My Coins
Q: What are missions?
A: Missions are a feature that lets you earn rewards, such as My Coins that can be used in Builders Note, by meeting specific conditions.
There are daily missions and missions linked to events.
You can check available missions from the “Missions” icon at the top of the screen.
Q: What are My Coins?
A: My Coins are in-app currency you can earn by completing missions in Builders Note.
You can exchange collected My Coins for items like fan badges from the “Store” page.
Q: How can I use My Coins?
A: You can exchange My Coins earned through missions for items like fan badges.
Various Features
Q: What about push notifications?
A: You can receive push notifications about new updates even when you’re not using Builders Note.
If your environment supports push notifications, you can set this up from ”Push Notifications” in the settings menu on the side menu.
Supported environments are as follows.
・Windows, macOS, Android: Supported
・iOS: Supported on iOS 16.4 or later only when Builders Note is added to your Home Screen.
Q: How do I add Builders Note to my Home Screen?
A: By adding Builders Note to your smartphone’s home screen, you can easily access it anytime.
Adding it to your home screen also enables push notifications. Give it a try!

1.Open Builders Note in Safari
2.Tap the share icon at the bottom center of the screen
3. Select “Add to Home Screen”
4. Tap “Add” on the confirmation screen to finish

Q: What is the direct message feature?
A: Direct messages allow private conversations between a sender and recipient.
You can access them from the Messages menu.
* Currently, only messages from the Admin Team are supported.

A: This is a chat feature that allows Builders to communicate freely with each other. You can explore various topic-based chat rooms via the “Search” section.

Q: Is there a recommended size for the image I upload when generating a Digital Diorama?
A: The recommended size is at least 1,024 × 1,024 pixels.
Q: Is it okay if my image includes multiple Gunpla units?
A: Images containing multiple units may not generate properly.

A: No—per the Terms of Service, do not upload images without Gunpla, those containing personal information, or copyrighted content.

Q: Will the generated image be the same quality as the original photo?
A: Not necessarily; the output quality may differ.
Q: Could my generated background match someone else’s?
A: Similar backgrounds may be generated. Please be aware.
Q: Can I do a test generation before finalizing?
A: There is no test mode—coins are consumed upon generation.
If the image is deemed inappropriate, generation stops and no coins are used.
Q: How many scene types are available?
A: There are 10 scene styles and adjustable intensity settings.
Q: How long does generation take?
A: It typically takes 20–60 seconds; poor connectivity may extend it.
Q: There's no response after starting generation—what's wrong?
A: It may take longer depending on your connection.
If you leave mid‑process, you can view results later in your history.
Q: I lost the generation result before saving—where'd it go?
A: You can view and save past generation results from your creation history.
Q: I can’t generate the image I want—why?
A: The images are generated based on preset themes and scenes provided by the Gunpla Digital Diorama Maker.
You cannot set up custom situations or create your own themes or scenes.
Q: I used an action base to stabilize my Gunpla—why does it still appear?
A: Accessories like action bases may remain visible in the generated image.
Q: Some parts or decal lettering got distorted or disappeared—why?
A: Due to AI generation traits, parts or decals may be altered or omitted.
Q: Some Gunpla parts disappear entirely—why?
A: Smaller or uniquely shaped parts may not display correctly and could vanish.
Q: How do I earn coins?
A: You earn coins by completing missions on Builders Note.

Q: Can I post the generated image to SNS or blogs outside Builders Note?
A: Yes. When posting outside, please clearly indicate AI‑generated content and retain the “BUILDERS NOTE” logo and copyright marks.
Q: How are generated images handled?
A: They are treated as “posted content” per the Terms of Service.
If deemed in violation, they may be deleted without prior notice.
Q: I don’t want to see images generated by Gunpla Digital Diorama Maker—what can I do?
A: If you prefer not to see AI-generated images, you can hide posts tagged with #AIDigitalDiorama from your timeline by going to Settings > Timeline > and turning on “Hide AI Digital Diorama.”
Alternatively, you can Use the Word‑Mute feature and enter “AI Digital Diorama” to prevent posts related to the #AIDigitalDiorama topic from appearing.

Osaka Expo Collaboration

Q: Where can I participate in the campaign?
A: You can participate by scanning the QR code on the panel located near the life-size Gundam statue at the Osaka Expo’s “GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE PAVILION.”
Q: How many times can each person use it?
A: It is limited to once per person per day.
Q: Do I need a reservation?
A: No reservation is needed through the “Pavilion Reservation (Lottery)” of the “GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE PAVILION” to take photos of the life-size Gundam statue.
Q: Are there any restrictions on the images I can upload?
A: Please only use images of the life-size Gundam statue at the “GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE PAVILION” at the Osaka Expo.

Q: How many kit names can I choose from?
A: You can choose from kits listed in the Gunpla list.
Q: Does the background change each time?
A: The same background is generated to reproduce the package.
Q: Is the Gunpla model itself processed?
A: Color adjustments are automatically applied to the Gunpla model so it blends with the package.
Q: Can I adjust the layout, etc.?
A: You can freely adjust the size and placement of the Gunpla model and kit name yourself.

When You Encounter Offensive Posts
Builders Note provides keyword and user mute features so that more people can use the platform with peace of mind.If you come across offensive posts, please make use of these features.
Q: What can I hide with “Keyword Mute”?
A: You can hide posts and topics containing registered keywords from the timeline and trends.
Q: Where can I set up “Keyword Mute”?
A: Go to “Settings” → “Privacy” → “Muted Keywords” to set any string of characters you want to mute.
You can also delete keywords from this menu.
Q: Are there restrictions on keywords I can register?
A: You can register up to 5 keywords, each within 50 characters.
You can also register words or phrases with symbols, emojis, or punctuation.
Keywords are case-sensitive and differentiate between full-width and half-width, kanji, hiragana, and katakana.
Q: After registering a keyword, the number of visible posts dropped significantly.
A: Please check whether the keyword is a generic term.
For example, setting “cafe” will also hide posts or topics containing “cafe latte.”
Q: What does “User Mute” hide?
A: If there's a user you don't want to see, you can hide their posts from the timeline and trends. Muting also hides their chat and comments.
Q: Where can I set up “User Mute”?
A: From the post or profile page of the user you want to mute, tap the “...” and select “Mute User.”
Q: I want to check or unmute users I’ve muted.
A: Go to “Settings” → “Privacy” → “Muted Users” to check muted users. You can unmute them by tapping “Unmute” next to their name.
About Violations of Terms
To ensure all users can enjoy Builders Note with peace of mind, we strictly enforce actions such as feature restrictions or account deletion when we confirm behavior that violates or is similar to violations of the Terms of Service or Guidelines.
Q: I found a post that violates the Terms of Service or Guidelines
A: If you find a post that violates the Terms of Service or Guidelines, please report it via the “...” menu at the top right of the post > “Report.” After reviewing the report, the admin team will take appropriate action against the post or user.
However, please refrain from submitting vague, unclear, or false reports.
Q: What happens when features are restricted?
A: Depending on the nature of the violation, you may lose access to certain features for a set period of time.
Please note that for accounts confirmed to have violated the terms, we may not be able to respond even if you contact the support center.

Q: What should I do if I encounter bugs or issues?
A: Please check the Contact Page and reach out to the appropriate support contact.
Q: I want to delete my account
A: You can delete your account from “Settings” > “Account” > “Delete Account.”
Please note that once deleted, your profile information, posts, purchased items, and coins will all be erased. We do not support data recovery after deletion.
